First days in Perth
Perth is brilliant
We have been in Perth for two days now and I already love it. It's winter here but it's warmer than summer at home, which makes no sense but I'm not complaining.
The beach
Today we went to the beach and the sand was so white it almost hurt my eyes. The waves were huge!
Things I have learned so far
- Kangaroos are real and they just hop around like it's normal
- Australians say "arvo" when they mean afternoon
- The ice cream here is the best I have ever had (I tested it twice to make sure)
Tomorrow we're going to a wildlife park and I'm hoping to see a wombat. More soon!
