Our first day in Perth!

It was weird landing in Perth because I know we'll be landing back here again before we finish our trip around Australia!

We're only in Perth CBD (they call it a Central Business District here instead of a city centre) for one day, but it is so cool. Once we came out of our hotel in the morning, I was amazed because when we checked into our hotel, it was so dark that I couldn't see a thing.

The first thing we did was go outside onto some weirdly bouncy grass and over to the nearby park. Honestly, I loved it. It was far better than the parks in England, even having Twister! But little did I know, I was only just seeing the beginning of the awesome parks.

After that, we got some lunch, as we woke up at 10 a.m. My Daddy got a massive fish and chips (there were two pieces of fish!!) with a Hazy IPA. My Mum got a steak sandwich, while me and Jude had a margherita pizza.

Then we headed to a massive park stuffed with huge slides, climbing walls, zip lines, a skate park, basketball courts, electric barbecues, futuristic toilets, an oval for Aussie Rules, and loads of sun shades. On the way, we saw a Galah, which was adorable, and at the park we saw an Australian White Ibis! It was one of the best parks I'd ever been to. Then we headed back to the hotel and went to sleep early.
