Mini Golf, Arcades & Last-Second Wins!

Today, it was raining, so we had to change our plans. Once the rain finally stopped, we headed out to play indoor mini golf before visiting the arcade next door.

We played mini golf first, and it was amazing! There were 18 different holes, all with awesome themes. Before we started, we each got to choose the colour of our golf ball. I picked my third favourite colour, pink. Mummy chose orange, Daddy chose blue, and Jude chose yellow.

The first hole was LEGO themed, which was a really fun way to start. As we made our way around the course, there were loads of different themes, including an art museum, giant hands, and lots more. My favourites were The Simpsons and SpongeBob SquarePants. There were also about four board game themed holes, including Connect Four, Operation, Snakes and Ladders, and Monopoly, which were all really clever. The last few holes were based on famous movies. There was E.T. (although they called it "Etee" and made him a sloth instead of an alien... LOL!), Harry Potter, where I got a hole in one, and a few other movie-themed holes. By the end, we found out that Mummy had won the game!

After that, we headed into the arcade next door. There were so many cool games that it was hard to decide where to start. My favourite was the rhythm game where Daddy and I had to play drums to the beat of the music. We played Bad Guy by Billie Eilish and my favourite song, Megalovania from the brilliant game Undertale, and, as a bonus, it's one of the hardest songs on piano. It was so much fun trying to keep up with the rhythm!

We also played a motorbike racing game where you had to lean to steer your bike around the track. I managed to beat both Daddy and Jude by just 0.05 seconds, which was super close! Then we played a Mario Kart arcade game, and I won that too by using a shell right at the very end of the race. It was a perfect last-second comeback!

After all that fun, we headed back home, relaxed for the rest of the evening, and then went to bed after another brilliant day in Australia.
